Thanks for picking up the trash. I’m at war with other fisherman at my local ponds. They leave everything. Plastic bottles, cans of Vienna sausages, hot dogs, beef jerky bags, beer cans, cigarette butts, torn cast nets, old minnow traps, lines stuck to branches. I know damn well they take more than the limit. Yesterday I went out and didn’t even fish, there was so much to pick up. I went home completely demoralized, walk of shame style. KIR.

This is what fishing is, just enjoying yourself. We have people over here who leave all their rubbish especially on river banks. We pick it up as it gives anglers a bad name but more important can harm the wildlife. I was always taught that when you go fishing to leave nothing but footprints. KIR

Yessir, great fish. No expensive equipment necessary like you said. I've been using a 30 year old shimano baitcaster and zebco omniflex line bought for under $3(thanks to watching you) and that has held up just fine and performed well I all phases--casting, retrieving, and fighting fish. Caught a nice 3 lber yesterday on the aforementioned reel and line.

As of yesterday I’m currently on a 2 1/2 week skunk streak. This is after I’ve caught my PB 6.44. Bout crapped my pants. I was feeling very down yesterday after yet ANOTHER skunk. I sat back and watched your videos and was reminded about the basics of the sport. It’s called FISHING not catching. In my opinion of all the other KZbinrs I watch you embody that key principle of the sport with each video. And I just love it. Realistic fishing is exactly that. Keep up the great content. Also I really love the commercial thing you put in your videos. Again furthering the embodiment of what fishing is all about. Love it. Keep up the great work and fish on!

Hey Alex you make fishing look so easy but when i try to fish a my lake and rivers it the hardest the fish don’t bite a lot of times, but I’m not gonna give up how deep is that water that you fish in at those different lakes?

I am fishing in 3-5 ft of water most of the time. Keep in mind I have been doing it almost every day for 8 years straight. That much practice makes anything look easy.

I remember when you bought that bait caster! surprised it's lasted so long! Also the trashcan was right there.. just a few steps from that pepsi bottle.. I wanna slap jerks like that.. so often i see someone throw aluminum cans in the trashcan when there is a recycling bin two inches from it.. Makes me wanna yell at them "you are the reason it's over 90 degrees F in October you climate change supporting jerk!"
