Thanks for the video, its fascinating to me to see how fishing works in different countries. We use much the same tackle in New Zealand. We cast ahead of the drift. Most of the big snapper we catch ( oversized bream) are hooked on the drop, just above the bottom. We use similar weight braid with a 2 metre trace of 20lb fluorocarbon, 3/8oz nitro bighead and gulp scented softbaits. 5" jerkshads and zman paddletails work great as well. Thank what a dream location.

Good technique Phill, you must have seen us - exactly the technique we used in Skarnsundet back in June last year. The fishing in late June 2019 was horribly slow, but that technique was the only technique that worked for us at that time of the year. Enjoy your vids, keep up the good work. Im from latvia in latvia i used to fish with lot of bait and bottom rods for carp but when i moved i find difiicult to catch even a little fish was going 5 times to fjord nothing
