Have you used the black Bart lures? expensive but they have some nice looking mahi skirts, i ordered a 5pk for this upcoming season in au. im down south in nsw.

I stagger my lures. I have one on the second wave back from the transom, one third wave back, the next two I have 30-40 m back and the one right out the back past the prop wash. 6-8 knots is my general speed when trolling

Geez, my apologies Johnny and to the community , but remember the sea can be unforgiving to anyone and that’s a child, my kid comes with us out wide and for safety as a parent, they wear a jacket, I may not survive an accident but my kids got every chance with a jacket on, it’s called responsible parenting!!!

Mate. Before you express an opinion and try to make out as though it is fact, make sure you know what you’re talking about. It is a valuable life skill. No current rules/laws broken on this video at all. Authorities are currently proposing some changes. I just wish Johnny would share a little bit more info about rigs and locations!! Having double checked the maritime safety regulations online we certainly weren’t breaking any current laws. I thought they had changed when Dee Dee Lemons made his comment. I will share more locations and setups with a full run down on rigs etc in my next couple of videos over summer! 😊
