The DLC has you whirl in order to summon Meloetta because it's a reference to her Pirouette Forme! The guitarist who teaches Meloetta Relic Song in the Generation V games (this is where the sepia part comes from) mentions that it lost its red shoes at the same time that sorrow darkened the world, and it lost the song it had danced to. This is a reference to the Hans Christian Andersen fairy-tale The Red Shoes. It tells a moral tale based upon the idea of temptation and eventual redemption. The story is based upon the protagonist's desire for a pair of shoes and the consequences of her temptation.

​@@jackmills6796okay, this is a crazy ride, but in Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl (BDSP), there's a new book in the Canalave Library that tells the story The Sea Prince, where three pokemon (one being a hint to the Hisuian Qwilfish evo, Overqwil) visited the Sea Prince at Dusk at a certain location. Nobody had any idea what this meant until PLA, where recreating this in the Cobalt Coastlands (i think after finishing the main story) would open a cave to a Manaphy and 3 Phiones that you can catch.

its such a convoluted way but basically your supposed to catch three special pokemon and specifically those three pokemon buizel, mantyke, and a Overqwil once you do your supposed to go to the coast area near a pillar of rocks at the end of the bay (the area where you encounter dusclops) and you'll hear manaphy's cry swim to the cave on the cliff side and you'll find it there. Your supposed to get this hit on how to do it because in diamond and pearl there's a book about manphy in the canalave library (WHICH YOU WON'T KNOW UNLESS YOUR RANDOMLY LOOKING AT BOOKSHELFS BY THE WAY) still a nice attention to detail @@jackmills6796

The Synchro Machine is such an insane feature. The fact that I can just become one with Toedscool and be the goofy boi I want to be roaming the Terrarium...it's amazing. There's a reason the filter is sepia! In Castelia City in Black/White and Black 2/White 2, the musician at the Café Sonata who teaches Meloetta Relic Song says "The scent you brought me reminded me of a long-ago melody from the fringes of my sepia-toned memories” and plays the Relic Song for you while Meloetta dances. In Black/White she just dances in her Aria Forme, but in Black 2/White 2, she changes forms while dancing. The fact they did such a reference to this for Meloetta in Indigo Disk is incredible One of my favorite callbacks to the Gen 5 games is that in the middle of the Canyon Biome is a callback to the Nature Preserve from Black 2/White 2! Similarly to the Nature Preserve, wild Altaria and Fraxure can be found in this area. You can even catch Haxorus, like you can in the Nature Preserve, except it's a static special Tera-type Haxorus in the same exact spot! Though my favorite callback is how when you change your clubroom to make it look futuristic, it's themed after Pokéstar Studios' Big Monster and Invaders films!

If you get close to her model and haven't looked at other art of her, you'll notice that she has a mic and half-headset as part of her body...she's designed to resemble an idol singer! Also, it's cute that Gamefreak gave Meloetta the Fighting Tera type to denote that she can naturally change into one with Relic Song. I believe that the Groudon you can catch via the Groudon treat in Scarlet is similar in that it has Fire as its default Tera type, since it's a very volcano-oriented Pokemon in spite of being a pure Ground type normally.

@@austinhall6002 i dont think he ever was available vie mistery gift.....his dabute was through an in person event for generation 3 i dont think he was available again until omega ruby/alpha sapphire where he was catchable without an exclusive event (because of this his status as a mythical is sometimes debated) i think the last time he was uptainable was in Pokemon go,which is likely where alot of trancfers into Scarlet/violet come from. ( its where mine comes from as well,which somone was kind enough to give to me)

Not peach, pecha. A peach is a sweet juicy fruit, the idea of the Pokémon is a poisonous berry. Pecharunt & mythical pecha berry as the event starting item.

I had an awful time counting the seconds I had to spin, so I just synchronized myself to the tutorial and I instantly heard the melody. It's also clockwise. I also did it at night because it took me a while, so eventually I just waitec an extra 5 minutes till dusk. It worked

I never owned MELOETTA before so it's AWESOME MELOETTA is on POKéMON SCARLET AND VIOLET THE INDIGO DISC DLC, taking a picture of it bring me back when I played Pokémon Snap on NINTENDO SWITCH. Meloetta and it's BEAUTIFUL Singing Voice bring me back Pokémon Rival Destinies My FAVOURITE episodes where Dawn came back defienitily episode where they was in an Island of Onix is my FAVOURITE. LOVE these Unova Referenses like Blue Berry Academy, Unoba starters and Legendaries like Kyurem and Meloetta. Can't wait to play The Indigo Disc after The Teal Mask. Meloetta was so hard to catch. I had to lower the HP of the Pokemon to 1, paralyze it, and keeping throwing Poké Balls like Ultra Balls, Quick Balls, Repeat Balls, and Timer Balls. In the end, I used a Timer Ball to catch it.
