even tips cant help you guys if you are bad. im pretty new but im still learning to throw a exelents, and im pretty much always throw at least great which is good. its good to practice catching pokemons during raids because they tend to attacks a lot more and fly in different places. also most of the time their "catch range" is usually a lot bigger. i like to go on a daily walk with daily incense and catch all i can with at least great throws, yall will be surprised how fast you can improve

you don't need to swipe the berry at the end when you throw it... you can already swipe towards the right a little and just throw it then. easier

Is there a minimum level to catch legendary Pokémon in raids bc I defeated Tapu Lele and I was using a curve ball golden raspberry with a great throw and like 10 premier balls down the drain it broke out of every single pokeball and I lost it I was at level 27

I've only been playing PoGo for a few months, but I studied the various catch rate percentages online and learned something very interesting: The difference between a Great throw and an Excellent throw is only from about 3%-5% difference, but the difference between a Curveball and a regular toss is about 7%-10%, depending on the initial catch rate. Excellent throws are always better, but when carching Lengendaries, I've found it's sometimes easier to just make several Great Curveball throws instead of risking missing an Excellent throw you're not confident you can make. Some big legends are so easy to make a good throw. I've recently done a mission, leading to an encounter with Heatran. That dude was so chumpy I did an excellent while the ring was the size of 5 pokeballs. Just goes to show how that dude is big.

Bro just to clarify, the wiki still states that you need to hit inside the circle to get the 2-R modifier. So I guess what you meant was that the excellent throw does not net any additional bonus but you still need it for the catch radius modifier

Yeah that’s right, excellent it self doesn’t do anything but you have to hit the ball in side the circle to get the 2-R, and the smaller the circle the better

7:50 Idk about chance. iv’e noticed it activates when the game decides to throw an animation a millisecond after you let it go. If you throw it after the animation or during activation, your pokemon wont smack it back. Just my observation. Uncontrollable timing.

Guaranteed catch doesnt work on certain pokemon. Doesnt seem to work on legendaries, fully evolved starters, and other rarer encounters

Circle locking doesn't work for me for some reason, I let go of the ball where I want it to be, and it keeps doing it's decrease thing after I release. Any tips on how to stop this?

That's been solved as all that have been banned by that method have been reinstated. Cuz it's not a cheat. Just a simple in game exploit. So basically they can't ban again. Due to the code needing changed and it's not worth changing the code. As it's not a broken code. Same idea with the no sparkles when getting a shiny out of eggs.
