Hey guys ANOTHER great video. I truly appreciate your vision to TEACH fishing and its concepts rather than just go out there and show. Im hoping you guys will develop a series strictly for “classroom” format information regarding species, lures/bait, location/habitat, and gear/knots you use in addition to w.e. may need to be known for that headliner species. It truly allows us to not have to resort to combing through hours of videos to segment information together. There are time when i go out and use information from a few videos yet come back home and see another video(s) where you may speak on the knot best used for that lure(s) for that species.. I know your probably like “wtf is up with this guy” but you’re one of the FEW providers that actually stay in tune with their target audience. Love the content, I’ll stay watching and stay fishing! SaltStrong!

I LOVE catching sheepshead. This time of year early winter is incredible here in south Louisiana. The big 5 to 8 lb sheepshead come into the marsh and the fight is on. Nothing per pound pulls like a sheepshead. We fish the oyster beds with market bait and catch easily 20 a day. It is one of the best tasting fish out there. Why people treat them like trash fish is beyond me. I find a lot of anglers are missing out because they dont know how to clean them easily, cook them correctly and know there are many artificial baits you can catch them on. Come to south Louisiana and fight these big sheepshead. So large you cant open your hand wide enough to hold them and you will be hooked.

Why not add spot lock to your trolling motor makes it a heck of a lot easier to stay on target and fish those areas more productively?
@Saltstrong4 жыл бұрын
I prefer the tiller motor for my skiff because it's better for the shallows where I spend most of my time.
@Snookchaser0074 жыл бұрын
Spot lock is great for offshore but inshore a hand controller is king when fighting a fish in tight spots or in tide you often need to adjust the boats positioning quickly trying to find a button for power and another for steering on a remote leaves your hand off the reel for several seconds which can allow slack in line leading to a lost fish a hand control uses gross motor skill instead of fine and can often be turned enough with just a bump of you knee keeping both hands on the reel also all your battery is used on the motor instead of half being used for steering which can be important fishing tidal areas on an all day trip or multiple day trip in remote areas without access to power to recharge while those little remotes and spot lock are trendy I will take tiller all day inshore
