Mr Machine, Thanks for the shows. My vacuum sealing trick is to add a couple of tab spoons of water to the bag and suck the air out with a drinking straw. The water surrounds the fish and seals out the air. Also some say to leave the slime on the fish because it attracts the cats.

So, up here in western WA our Winco supermarkets get fairly decent deals out on "pork carnitas" which are basically odds & ends from prepping pork loins/chops. Knowing that chicken breast's considered top notch catfish bait, I can't help wonder about these nice fatty chunks of pork, especially since it's cheaper than chicken breast...🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂🤷🏻‍♂

Another way to get the air out of the bag is to take a soda straw and close the bag within 1/2" of being fully closed. Insert the straw just a little ways in and suck the air out. Quickly remove the straw, and seal the 1/2"area. (Poor man's vacuum sealer). As always, thank you for the great videos.

In Maryland we call those spoons Tonys. Tie a white or yellow feather on the end works better. Yall got more Herring in fresh water then in the Atlantic.
