Quick question, I’m a returning player, I took a break a week or 2 into SL. So, I’ve been finishing off my covenant, and a second covenant (from 40, nice tip, ty) campaign. Also all the relevant story, Korthia, Totgast (boss rush, thankfully not every level and the box of things), learning dungeons, proffs and UI/addons. I’ve fell behind in Enlightened rep, missing a lot of dailies,(was wanting to hit all the chest etc with flying, console drop rate buffed with little hassle, and getting more flux etc). So, If I finish the story part of Zerith Mortis without being revered, will I still get a rank 6 covenant switching lego? I’ve tried looking for this specific info, but can’t find it anywhere. Could you give me a quick “get to revered before finishing it, or tell me I’m stupid-and “just finish it because…..” Regardless, really enjoy your content, and thought I was subbed, I get notifications when you release anything. YT algorithm 🤷‍♂️ . Anyway, I have rectified this, so- subbed and liked!

Hey there! Yes, when you finish Zereth Mortis story quest you will receive a belt item with the Unity Legendary effect. This legendary is the "Covenant-Switching-Legendary" you are talking about. Revered is needed to get the Unity Recipe, to recraft that Lego for your alts and your main, mostly used for better itemization and min-maxing. Just focus on finishing the story chapters and you will gain a big power spike at the end of it :)

Cant Wait for Them to add so we can Craft set heat.. 12 great valuta rewards so far and 16 boss kills. Wich have given me rings /wrists and one shouder slot. Zero teir sets …. Basicly gotten fuck al nadda gear what so ever… they Need to add creation catalyst asap becaus geting rad gear is close to impossible inless you buy gear ……

I Would not recomend Anyone to play an alt this patch unless they plan to put in 20 hours per week minimum on an alt, next to Their Mail, this patch,this exp is insanly alt unfriendly

8 weeks after patch for the creation catalyst is so dumb, I don’t think I can wait that long. I have had shit luck getting tier. I have none from doing raid and mplus, I prob won’t be playing when it comes out, great job Blizz keeping ppl wanting to play.

RNG has existed in this game since vanilla and the only way to get tier prior to this patch was ONLY in raid . Now that there is literally so many more ways to get tier you are gonna bitch cuz you aren’t lucky ? Take a second and breathe it’s okay that you don’t have tier set yet , it’s not the end of the world . I also don’t have tier but I’m still smashing keys and it’s fun, just gonna be that much better once I get tier . Your comment is the wow community in a nut shell, just bitch and moan .

Spoiler alert , it’s never been like that. Prior to this patch dating back to vanilla you had to raid to get tier pieces . This isn’t voicing concerns this is pure bitching about RNG which has been in the game since the game was made . But yeah I can’t believe blizzard is making tier sets accessible to players who don’t want to raid how dare they make it easier for people. Doesn’t blizzard realize that people will bitch and moan no matter what ? They should go back to making tier sets drop only from raid cuz then you wouldn’t complain right ? Since it’s been that way since 2004

I feel your pain my 236 alt can’t get Into anything. Best bet is to wait for catchup mechanics or make your own 0 keys and push them higher. It’s always hard to play low Ilvl alts at the start of a new patch.

Random chance to get tier despite big efforts in vault doesn’t feel good. Pair that with conquest cap and loot lockout… for a game with so many different class, spec, build, and race options for it to be this alt unfriendly feels terrible. Legendary upgrades coming out at different times, 2 legendaries per character, about 90k each? If the game were designed better everyone would still be playing and they wouldn’t need to design shit like this around 20$ cash grabs for 90% of players. This far into the expansion the thing that’d keep me playing is toying around with alts or even feeling like I’m progressing on my main without being hard stopped, why time gate gear progression even for a main at this point? 1 piece per week for creation catalyst? Whose idea was that?

Remeber when you can only get tier from raiding ? Remember when there was no weekly cache that had potential to give you high value piece of loot ? Since 9.1.5 this has been really friendly alt expansion . Better than legion btw if you remember artifact research before they nerfed it .

That doesn’t make this patch actually alt friendly and it doesn’t make the game feel great to play just makes it feel better than the dumpster fire we were burnin in before. Feels just barely worth it for me but for a lot of other people they packed up and left.

@@spindoggytheexplorer2915 I think the legendary crafting system is bad. They made it easy to farm the materials now but the base piece is a gold sink and I agree that for alts especially it sucks . Other then that the conduit catch-up and gear catch-up is really easy, you can ding 60 and get full 226 gear on all slots even buy a cheap leggo for the effect . You should never be able to have two characters similar ilvl with only putting effort into one , that’s never been the case and blizzard has said that repeatedly that’s their philosophy on having a “main” . Shadowlands has suffered a lot with lulls in content which many people left for sure, this patch specifically might not be enough for people to re sub , but it’s hell of a lot friendlier for alts . Eventually , as said in the video , your alt can have a 4 set because of the creation catalyst .
