Was never really a tournament player but in my splashy cash games when SB flats pre and then x/r the flop it's almost always a set of 2-9.

GTOWizaed- I need help with 1 question- Why when CO opens(2.5) 6handed and and SB 3bets(11) does BB call 66 20% fold80% yet 77 calls 10% and folds 90%? Even 88 is 19%call and 99 is 20.5% call? These are from GTO wizard- Does it have something to do with 66 has a better chance at hitting set over 77 because there are more 7's in CO opening range? Thanks

@@MaximusMerideus 66 has better interaction with wheel boards. On a flop like 532 you’ll have more equity and better equity realization against A-high hands that will often play aggressively due to having a gutshot (which you dominate). This is a relatively small factor but it’s enough to make 66 slightly better than 77 against a range that only contains pocket pairs higher than 77.

Good video as usual for this channel, thank you! One piece of information that might have been interesting to include in this bb vs sb comparison is the oop player's EV. I wonder how many more chips I make in a game as sb where villains are cbetting too much (that is, failing to account for the insights in this video).

I am simple guy, in positon versus one opponent i always cbet atleast half pot. You may say i am donk but results say different....

Btw i always call in bb vs sb even if the sb is a nit, many times i floped two pairs or better to kill the nit with JJ+ 😂
