Beautiful! I live along the rogue river in southern Oregon. Today, enjoying the rain falling down, the rapid flow of the river, the leaves falling, deer and other creatures in front of my deck at times. At 76yo, this is life lived in simplicity for me.

Is it more affordable down there? I want to stay in Oregon but I’m paying $3k just in rent every month in Portland. Most of my friends are too busy to hang out with marriage and kids. I want to move somewhere close enough but far away to be more at peace and spending less.

I am watching this video on TV right now, but I come to comment... I live in Majorca, and I envy this peace of life that you have there in Finland, dear Sanna. Here, in the last 15 years, the population has grown so much, it's now November and I remember in my youth to drive to the city almost alone in the motorway in this time of the year. You could go to the beach and have a walk almost in complete loneliness, or see the sunset of autumn, with its red and purple colours in complete peace if mind... This is not possible anymore. Now there are jams in the motorway everyday. So many people everywhere everyday... Everything has become so stressful that I would just like to run away from here to... FINLAND. Thanks for your videos, I find peace in them.

Same here. I am always busy and when I sit down to watch videos like this one I feel guilty. I live in a tiny village in eastern germany and it is lovely to walk in fields and by the lake but the road going through our village gets busy at certain times and then I think that life like Sanna's would suit me better.

I’ve found that boredom actually equals peace. So many people say they want peace, but when things are calm and nothing is “happening” we think there’s something wrong about it, but it’s really peace. I’ve learned to embrace it more and more. Bless you for your video.

Look at the lichen on the tree behind you. For the outdoorsy person maybe pickup Eco printing as a hobby. Seems like you love the outdoors but you could pickup a hobby doing crochet or knitting, quilting. Basket making.

I’m naturally a very quiet person. My workplace is full of nonstop chatter and loud laughter. I like that every now and again, but my quiet demeanor sometimes makes me feel self conscious.
