If you have never chalk painted before I would advise starting with something more simple. If you must start with this then I would suggest practicing on some scrap wood first!

What a beautiful way to create that vintage pink look! I love pink and I want to paint my cedar chest pink....I’m wondering when you go back in with base color are you dry brushing to blend the two....? I read you wet the brush as you go ...what a great tip ...I find if you are painting a decent size piece the brush can get very dry and makes for a difficult smooth final effect. Oh and although I’m not a gold fan I love the accents and hardware in that color!! Thank you for sharing😊
