Remove the negative/black cable first, it is possible to accidentally touch ground with the wrench while loosening the positive/red, if you do you will get a large spark, not good. I have heard of old leaking batteries exploding due to a spark near a battery. When reconnecting a battery, connect the positive first, then the negative. Safety first
