I just picked up my 22 fish pro. While I was messing around with the Garmin to update maps, the alarm went off and the battery icon showed up on the cluster. I figured I drained the battery down so I connected my power tender to the back battery. Battery was at 56% and charged up to 71 %. It did t charge any higher than 71%. The starter battery charge was at 95%. Trying to put 2 and 2 together. When I signed papers for my fish pro, the dealer stated I had a life time battery warranty. Meaning anytime the battery goes dead, I get a new one for no charge.

Is the transparent tube is connected to something… I find thins in mine and I was wondering if it’s normal!

I’m not sure actually… I just changed the battery on my new GTI and I could not tell. Still tight.

My 21 GTI SE is basically the same battery setup, but the strap goes across the narrow part , plus a metal bracket over the narrow side of it....and it's even harder... what a nightmare! I can't believe they just squeezed the battery in (sitting at an incline), with so little room to work around it!

I figured out the trick. Go around the sides with the strap vs the top.

Ya know...that sounds like a great idea!... I'll try that when the battery needs to come out again....For now, I managed to pull it down and get it hooked. I just need to let my hand and arm heal for a few days from the sharp edges and tie straps that hacked me up.🥴
