bad habits and addiction are like toxic friends. they convince you that you need them, that they’re worth more than your friends or family, but every time you’re with it you feel worse and worse. eventually you have to learn to say “no, i will not listen to you because i don’t have to. you will not make me feel better and i don’t need you to”

When i am not in trouble these things leave me awestruck but when i am in even slightest disturbances around me i get anxious and doubtful ,feel something will go wrong . Something i am not able to grasp .
@deeman2200
@deeman2200 3 жыл бұрын
@@reenasingh-id9zh just focus on feeling you have when anxious. Take your consciousness and awareness to your body fully, on that feeling. Dont judge, think about it. That's all you gotta do to start the process.

@@deeman2200 thanks ,i have started this recently . I used to suppress my feelings earlier but now focus and let it pass . But i am concerned when dealing with everyday situation especially with kids when i am thinking of their wellbeing and they tend to move in random directions ,not safe and i get anxious and fear conflicts in the family .
@deeman2200
@deeman2200 3 жыл бұрын
@@reenasingh-id9zh that's great, keep continuing! Do read power of now. Especially the concept of resistance. When we suppress feelings or worry, it's usually that we live in our minds not reality. We are afraid of mind made situations. Since we identify with mind so much, we think its real. This is also when we try to control situations or outcome. Because fear overpowers and we want things to be right. Make a habit of watching your mind silently, each thought that appears and how mind builds a story will help you realize this. I am also practicing and realizing this. Good luck :)

This reminds of my pregnancy. How I loved my baby growing inside me. How afraid I was as time came to give birth.. Then suddenly I just wanted the baby to be born. The fear of giving birth left. And she was born. The joy of new life the pain of letting go of the pregnancy and accepting with joy new life.

I have a lot of admiration for Tolle, having said that I don't actually think he answered the lady's question that well. He gave a good theoretical explanation of the forces that keep people locked into deep seated habits and conditions, and how people don't want to let go of their suffering, but I have to wonder if the answer he gave actually helped her change her habits or not. I feel like the audience may have benefited more if he actually explored her specific situation and the reasons she was asking the question in the first place. I got the sense that there was a very personal element of suffering behind her question but it was never explored. I don't have many criticisms of Tolle, he's a beautiful human being and a wonderful teacher, it's just that his live seminars feel like footnotes to his books when they could be so much more.

The question is overwhelming and this is where we can see the limit of his spiritual depth- I admire him very much but I think there needs to be more digging to be done in the human psyche- in that sense I really like the Belgian ISA PADOVANI- she really speaks about listening to the different parts of ourselves and finding harmony before taking up anything brutal- if you push some of your inner parts like a bully to do something without opening a real discussion or understanding, they will make you pay for it later on - I can't explain it as well as she does but her basic work comes from NVC - non violent communication and the idea of "listening to " the other could Also mean listening to the other part inside us that doesn't want to go with your idea.... I know that I feel divided so often between my parts wanting so many different things that I end up blocked, doing nothing, lots of time pass especially... like writing Looooong replies to sub-replies that no one will ever bother to read.... 😒😔😎😉

This is so helpful! 🙏 I can do so much more if I live mostly in the now. Like for example healthy eating: Because I only have to do it *now* . Not for the last ten years (that's just a story) and not for the next 20 years (the future never arrives, it's only now when it happens). Honestly how hard is it to do something *now* ?. It's only about 1 second. Choosing to eat cake or salad takes seconds. It's so easy to say to myself: just make the best choice now. That's all. And go off and do something else. Wow. What a revelation.

@@Paul-dw2cl with feeling it AS IF real, imagine already having. Our subconscious believes & attracts like vibes, bringing our desires to our circumstances. Be sure to have gratitude for all being good, or we get our desires in unwanted ways.

Wow amazing video. I love how amazing technology is & how we can use it to transform our lives with info like this 🙏🏼 I learned that many people are not ready to let go of self harming habits because its who they think they are which is comforting for them. Most of the time until life becomes unbearable by those habits they won’t change, so what we control is sharing the triggers but its has to be taken by them at the end.

I don’t like people who try to make others believe in what they want them to and not letting them believe in what they know and see within themselves so who’s to say what they see and know within themselves is not right believe me their are a lot of people who know who they truly are without ever being told by others. I know the same thing he is speeding without ever being told by any advisor this I s why I started listening to him because we were speaking the same thing. Now when someone tries to get me to do something that I don’t trust I have a problem with that.❤️😀

The title has nothing to do with the content... 🧐😒 But, the subject is interesting, and ever so true!! One can't push a person to evolve. Only show a way or direction. 🙏
