Shock strut on AUDI A3 Convertible (8P7) (04.2008-05.2013) / SEAT Altea (5P1) (03.2004-...) / SEAT Leon II Hatchback (1P1) (05.2005-12.2012) / VW Touran I (1T3) (05.2010-05.2015) / VW Golf V (1K1) (10.2003-02.2009l) cars should be replaced, as a rule, according to one and the same procedure.

Hub bolt should be 200nm then 180° if anyone wanted to know thats for the smooth backed bolt used here.

Recommended tightening torque of the rear hub bolt 180 Nm + 180 ° AUTODOC

The captive nuts on my top mount decided to become non captive and now can't get the top mount off and can't get an angle grinder under the windscreen. Has the be the worst car I have ever worked on

155nm is well out of spec for such a critical bolt. The haynes manual explains this.

If you are doing the other side you need to remove the whole wiper assembly to get to one of the mount nuts. Right pain in the @@@@

This video is dangerous! You saying to torque the strut top bolts way to high, they are stretch bolts that need replacing not reusing , unless I have this wrong? Also the strut pinch bolt is a stretch bolt
