How to change a reverse light switch on a 2006 2.8 Fiat Ducato & Grease up my stiff gears

Hymer C544 classic reverse light switch replacement,
After my reverse light stol working it stop my reverse camera working as well, here's a quick video showing you how to replace the switch for less than £15
I always noticed my gear changes were getting stiff, so while I had clear access to the gear box, I also greased up the linkages, and all seems to be good now

Alright Big Lez, thanks for this video. I've got a similar issue with my gear selection being stiff/difficult, particularly 1, 2 and R. Do you have any additional advice for this particular part of the job? Did you strip any rust or just lubricate the linkage?

Hi, that definitely sounds like the same problem, 1 & 2 were a nightmare especially at roundabouts, once I had access to the gear linkage I just used the wd40 to free it off and work the gear stick until It felt smooth again, and then used the Cooper grease to coat the linkage to stop it rusting up again. So far it's worked like a dream, so well worth trying 👍
