Hello Amaechi, Yes, without a valid speed signal from these sensors, the PCM will not be able to correctly control the shifting of gears within the transmission. This may cause the transmission to shift roughly or more quickly than normal.

Where is the input speed sensor located?

Hello Clifford, The input speed sensor is on the top of the transmission, by the shift cable.

Hello@@chrisbrannen8091, It could be a bad ECU, a faulty speedometer, or an electrical issue. If I had this issue, I would start with a new Speed Sensor. Under $20.00 on ROCKAUTO. Or test your old one.

Not helpful at all your not working on an 08 sonata definitely not the same intake as my v6
