Like the use of the jack stand, lot of folks skip that part and any extra bit of safety is great.

Yes indeed, that's A LOT of weight to be taking chances with.

I always like to balance the weight between jack and stands.

If I work under a vehicle, I use a pair of ramps. They are much safer than jack stands!

You proceeded 100% correct. I am very surprised for your work! Never tighten wheel nuts with an impact tools. They definitely will damage to the vehicles’ wheel studs. Studs will loss strength if use impact tools. For every tightening with an impact tool, a vehicle wheel studs could loose 10% of its strength. This is real! And they will be snapped off if you use that power tool for several times. This safety rule is in OSHA and it will never change for many mechanics. I am very happy for your demonstration and your safety!

Good video, thank you.

I'm pretty sure the impact will chew up the threads on the scissor jack after a couple uses. I keep an old Ryobi drill (set to low speed) in the car with a big battery just for the scissor jack. Jack = mild steel, lug nuts = hardened steel.

Initially, when taking off the wheel, were they torqued to 100 ft lbs? They seem to have come off too easily.

When are you guys going to make a 90 degree impact ? Like the tek4 you guys use to have, but stronger for those hard to reach area that need impact.

“Don’t have your jack on gravel or grass” the most likely place for you to change a tire is on the side of the road where grass and gravel are pretty much your only options

How to change a *WHEEL*! This video does not show anything related to tyre removal (which is the rubber attached to the alloy or 'rim'). Thumbs down
