Mine went out at least a year ago, but I’ve ignored it since I have a standard. It’s messing with my brakes pretty bad now and I never knew how easy it was to fix. Thank you for the video. It’s a huge help.

Sir, thank you so much for putting in the time & energy to make this video. I replaced my entire brake setup, front and rear over the last year or so, because of this exact problem not being solved in the first place, thus the brakes got ruined. Finally after much research, we found out about the sensor issue. Your knowledge thoroughly explaining what is wrong, why and then how to fix it, is top notch. Many thanks.

Excellent video, love the depth of detail. I found you by looking for a tutorial of the HF OBDII reader, and you have completely convinced me to pull the trigger on that purchase. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the info. I was not just looking for a tutorial, but also looking for a diagnostic tool that would allow me to see the codes. Keep it up :) Learned plenty!!

I have a 2017 jk my ABS and Traction Control light turn on a few seconds after turning on the car then about half a minute or so it goes away, all my seals and hubs seems ok i just got the front Axle seals done, my guess is a faulty sensor.
@MajorWeakness6 ай бұрын
That would be my guess. Try a scan Tool with ABS feature

How come every one of these videos that show replacing the sensor, it is always the left rear wheel?? My left rear is also not reading. Is it because that is the side the exhaust is on?
@MajorWeakness5 ай бұрын
That's a very good question! Not sure but with the added heat of the exhaust it might be a contributing factor indeed!

I went to pull mine out and noticed it was broken in half the other end fell inside so now what do I do and why was it broken
@MajorWeakness3 ай бұрын
No big deal if it fell inside. Just put another one on.
My sensor arrived today from RockAuto and I'm looking at it thinking I can probably do it without removing the rear wheel..

what difference if they are made in Mexico ? why don't you get a OEM and pay three times
@MajorWeakness Жыл бұрын
People like to know the source of manufacturing. Some people like to purchase certain items based on this. Cant blame me as I purchased but some would now. Just want people to make an informed purchasing decision
@jeffreebailey44643 ай бұрын
@@MajorWeaknessit's probably manufactured at the same Mexican makeeladora, they just put in a different box!

Yes if you drive in mud and need to use with muddy windows. If not then save a little and go with the Bosch Icons
