I really appreciate that you leave "the struggle" in your videos. Sometimes you watch a tutorial, and they make it look so easy, I get frustrated that it isn't easy for me lol literally, everything is a struggle for me. Mostly because I'm a ,almost, 50 yr old child lol. No patience and get distracted by stuff. Great video I need to change mine. Thanks for the reminder. Take care,you are appreciated.

For the longest time ive subbed to you. I thought it was weird a dude would act like a dad towards strangers on the internet. But all the info, and how to videos have helped me a lot. My dad didn’t want kids or at least he didn’t want his kids; but at least he told us that before leaving, he could have disappeared and said nothing. You’ve been the best dad i needed growing up and I’ve learned so much from you. Im glad you made your channel and i hope you have a healthy, full life. Thanks for being the dad i’ve never had.

Thank you for spending your time teaching us how to do things. Even with a dad around, he was not present or had the patience to teach. I remember when I was six, he was "teaching" me the alphabet and he literally just yelled at me and sometimes he would take out his anger on me... it scarred me. Now anytime someone is teaching me anything I get so nervous and jittery I feel like I'm gonna get it... glad your videos are calm and you sound patient even when things dont turn out how you want them.

So, I sub'd this channel way back, Loved the concept but rarely checked in. I'm lucky b/c my Dad taught me a lot. Fast forward and he is helping me raise my sons b/c I'm a single parent. Fast forward a bit more, and sadly he passed away a few months back. I was in tears today b/c I never learned how to change an air filter. So I went to KZbin to find a tutorial, and this channel appears first. You like, just posted it. I feel like it was his way of telling me he's still here. It could've been any channel, but it wasn't... it was yours. So, thank you "KZbin Dad" for your content, for me and my kiddos, and thank you for the smile today.

Dad is a good man for helping people with these videos. There's also a cabin air filter that should be changed. It's usually located inside and behind the glove compartment

Nice! I work on my own vehicles all the time and thanks to many father figures in my life I have been able to do it all myself. You should do the cabin air filter next as sooo many times it gets neglected and will grow mold over time! Do a video on it and so many people will breathe easier with a clean cabin filter.

90$ is a normal price. Since it takes like 30 minutes of work. The oil also costs like 30 dollars and the filter's also cost like 30dollars. 15 for the Air filter and 15 for the oil filter. Which adds up to 60$ and 30 dollars for half a hour of mechnical labour is a good price for you as a consumer.
@durschfalltv7505
@durschfalltv7505 2 жыл бұрын
Also they need to dispose of the oil. Which isnt always as easy. And sometimes costs money. You can however burn it mixed with gasoline in you're lawnmover after you filter it.

2004 Subaru 6 cylinder it's front engine driver's side. In addition to bolts, there are sometimes friction clips. If replacement not immediately available, filter can be cleaned with a vacuum or blown clean with compressed air. Driving conditions will affect how often an air filter needs to be changed. I'm in a rural area with a lot of gravel roads and I change mine 4x a year.

First time I went to get my (first) car's oil change the mechanic asked me if I wanted the air filter checked. "Air filter?" I have no idea why it surprised me that cars have air filters when even my vacuum cleaner has an air filter. Any way I took careful notes as the mechanic pulled it out and changed it. Yours looked down right clean in comparison. In my old Honda Civic, it's actually accessed from the glove box.
