After cleaning these wheels everytime my wife drives the car it was time to change in the brakes. The Audi RS7 is like the CTS-V. It makes a ton of brake dust but stops great. I was willing to give up some stopping power to make keeping it clean a lot easier. This is the process I use to change brakes and it was a little more challenging due to not having the correct tools. However I listed a link to a tool you need to help with the back brake install. After driving with the new brakes you can tell a difference but the fact it will have no more dust is worth it to me.

EBC reds will dust a lot less than stock but should give more initial bite than the powerstops. I use them in my built Golf R for daily and spirited use.

Hey man its funny that im seeing this video.... because I have been looking for an A7, so the algorithm pointed me to you LOL. But what is your honest opinion about the RS7? Im looking at getting an A7, so not the same motor, but would you recommend buying one or no? if so at what mileage would you recommend buying them at? Thanks man!

Thanks for the how to! About to go a change on our 17 S7 and this is very helpful. How did you release the electronic e brake on the rear?

@jcooper7312
@jcooper7312 2 жыл бұрын
You have to use an app or VCDS to retract the electronic "screws" for the rear e-brake. If you try to compress the rear pistons without doing this you can break them.

Good video but you likely damaged your parking brakes. The correct tool is either vcds or obd11 to electronically release the parking brakes and then re engaging them after you’re done. You never want to compress or release it with force.

@TWAMotorsports we installed these pads on my wife's RS7 and have a front end clunk that we think can only be related to the pads after running through the entire front end. Curious if you had any issues with brake pad shift with these or if you have any recommendations for an attempted fix?

@@TWAMotorsports how many miles when sold and other than wear and tear maintenance like brakes filters and oil change did you have any otger issues. I'm looking at a 60k ish miles s7 audi. But scared to pull tge trigger. I'm mechanically inclined but when I hear things like you need a computer just to retract the rear emergency brakes I'm not wtf!!
