On my Fob that looks exactly the same as in this video, there is a little screw. Does that need to be removed to open the two halves?

That’s to open and get access to all the electronics in the key fob.

@@JerryPanandCars Thanks Jerry. I tried opening it without removing the screw, but it would not budge especially near the screw. I was afraid I might break something. I'll try to use a little more force with fingers crossed.

Yet another aspect of this jokers mobile. Takes ages to respond. That’s if if responds at all. 1.5 litre engine. Fuel consumption of a V12. I’ve drive absolutely loads of cars through my life. This thing is by far the worst. It’s alright when you’re actually moving but otherwise it’s horrible. I bought a Bluetooth device. It cost £80. Sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes the windows go up by pulling the switch up sometimes it doesn’t. It seems to do what it wants rather than what you want. If you press the temperature control it takes about 5 seconds to respond. Anyway I’ve got another 6 months with this thing. Never again. It’s shit
