Never seen anyone use a standard screwdriver and pry off the rotor to depress the pistons i typically use a c clamp with a old pad to do this.

Would you ever reuse old brake pads on a new rotor? Old rotor warped 25k miles.

I have the same question, the shop who turned my rotors did not sand the pads so its still not bedded in and making noise.. hope this will go away after few miles/kms
