I have seen lot of mechs doing the same. Just change the brake shoes or clean the brake pads. It won't work, no one knows the real problem is with the 'brake cam'. In your vehicle also I suspect the problem is with the same. 1 mm wear in cam will lead the cable tightening screw to a distance of 1½ cm to 2 centimeters which is resulting the adjusting nut to the maximum. Tell the dealer/ mechanic to change the brake cam (cost approximately Rs 70/-) your problem will be solved. 😊
