How to change cabin filter Mini Cooper

Hello MiniManiacs!
Do you know what your cabin air filter or pollen filter looks like?
Or even more interesting, do you know where the cabin air filter is located on your MINI, MINI Cooper or MINI CooperS?
In this short video I want to show you where the cabin filter is located, how it looks from behind and how you can change it without tools or other special stuff.
From years of experience I would like to show you the MAHLE activated carbon filter LAO 171
with CareMetix an antiallergic and with an antibacterial effect.
As always, I give you the necessary tools and torques as well as tips and tricks along the way.

Danke für die Empfehlung des Innenraumfilters! Für meine Herzensdame wäre das definitiv lohnenswert (etwas mehr Ruhe auf dem Beifahrersitz). :D

Hallo Ich fahre einen Clio 2016 und hatte mal den Innenraumfilter 2 jahrelang vernachlässigt das sah dann schon sehr Schimmelig aus. Jetzt einen Mini R 50 Bj 2004 68000 gelaufen günstig bekommen. Die Tage mal den Filter raus bauen😖

Kann ich den Filter einfach ausschütteln und absaugen, wenn er nicht so schlimm aussieht? Der hält dann doch noch paar Kilometer, oder?

Sicherlich könnte Man/Frau das machen! Nur geht es hier ja nicht nur um den groben Schmutz sondern auch um die Keime, ... die sicherlich nicht mit dem Staubsauger bzw. mit Druckluft entfernt werden können. Hier würde sich ein schneller Tausch des Filters mehr lohnen.

Leider sitzt er genau so blöd wie bei den meisten Autos (Wobei seit neuesten muss man bei manchen Autos auch schon das komplette Handschuhfach ausbauen). Wenn man nicht gerade der sportlichste ist kann das schon ganz schön anstrengend sein zumindest als Laie bei 30 Crad Außentemp. in normaler Kleidung wenn man sich mal denkt das mach ich mal kurz auf einer Tankstelle.😀
