well the films we use for this sort of application now are known as - pressure activated adhesive with air release channels- Definately alot easier to work with, the channels allow the air to flow out from under the film, the higher quality films are almost perfet once post heated, and the pressure activated adhessive allows you to slide the film and lift and move it around as you saw CK Wraps do.

Hey guys, wanted to leave a few notes. 1. The camera makes the wrap look a different color than in person. Its more gray in person. Not sure why it looks so blue on film? 2. The price of wraps vary based on size of the car, intricacy of the body shape, type of material (chrome/patterns/just color), and how much of the car is going to be disassembled, and if its a full wrap or just the side of a work van, for example. Most wraps cost between $800 up to $6,000. So discuss the variables with your installer. 3. After 2 weeks, the wrap still looks brand new and I have no complaints. This video was about the "process", so I (we) could understand more about what it takes to install and decide if its something we would want on our cars or not. 4. You can do everything (almost) you would do to uncovered paint, including light light compound/polishing. (More videos to come) 5. Maintenance is exactly the same as uncovered paint. (Again, video coming) 6. And remember, this can be removed in 30 minutes. So it was a fun experiment and video series. Hope you find this video as interesting as I did when I watched him work and explain his techniques. Thx for watching as always!

Jose Leon it depends what you looking for. Rolls are 152cm wide and depending of car from 15m long. If you look for something temporar then aliexpres or alibaba is good(up to 200$ a roll but I would not leave it more then 6 months on the car) . If you want something high quality (what go up to 1000$) you should Google it in your country for Avery or 3M wrap.

Killer video. DUDE! I love the way your R8 looks with the new color and wheels and suspension. Looks like a work of art!
