How to Change cocking lever on AGT Vixen from left to right side. Easy job

Thanks dude ,i had my barrel off and shroud the first day i pucked it up lol ,fitted the shroud and air splitter with curlers wrapped in 5 layers of felt ,it did not make a different as it is 76.4db before and after so i stripped it all out and will get a HW XLK mod fitted ,great rifles tho love it 😊

Yes I tried all kinds of different things to get the bark down & nothing worked until I bought the shroud silencer from eBay! Glad you’re enjoying your Vixen.

The pivot pin that holds the handle has a very thin washer at the top of the handle. every vixen has one. check to see if yours is now in the action loose ,as i did not see you use it when refitting.

Hi are are you referring to the grub screw? As It’s never had one that I’ve noticed and I can’t see where a washer would fit on it as it’s not tapered nor does it have a shoulder of head? Thanks for your input dude.

@@Ratsinthereticles Hello, i say washer but its really a 0.03mm shim. you slide the allen headed pivot pin into the hole in the frame above the handle.,then before you thread that into the lever you slide the shim in.then push the allen headed pin right through the handle then tighten the pivot pin,followed by the tiny locking allen bolt. that 0.03 shim makes all the difference. i forgot to put mine in and the play was very noticable. you should defo have a shim there,unless the whole handle if different. a guy at my club as a much older rifle than my apx 3 month old one and both have shims.

To be honest I think mine has been tinkered with being an ex demo gun and also has orange mod tune from the ship it was purchased so maybe it was lost then? But believe me my gun works perfectly with not a single issue. Thanks for your engagement dude.

I see the cocking lever handle changes orientation (up facing or down) depending on what side you have the cocking lever. Is it possible to change the lever handle so it is down regardless of what side you put it?

No it doesn’t mate that’s me I turn it upside down just like it that way pointing up and it’s out the way more! Good observation 🤘🏼
