OMG, finally. SLA batteries are so expensive (and heavy) YET we see entire powerwalls of 18650 Li-Ion powering entire homes. I have a perfectly good APC UPS from 2009ish but the batteries for it costs as much as 100usd. I refuse that when 9ah for an 18650 is nothing.

It may be possible to adjust the charging voltage of UPS there are web based articles on adjusting the charging voltage of the APC1000 I'm concerned that the chemistry of some batteries, (Don't know the ones you selected) I like the looks of the LiFeP04 lithium batteries think there a safer bet.bring a higher risk of fire
