Thanks for the instructions. Why did you replace the hoses?
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Because I wanted them to be blue :)
@zacharybrosious22935 жыл бұрын
What size is the black hose? So you cycle the water through until it’s clean water coming back out into the cup?
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Black hose is actually a little smaller than you need but it works. 5mm internal diameter. Yup just run it until it's clean, it's not a full flush but it will work

Could you make a video showing how to use the controller to start the pump. That would help a lot.
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Ah yes sorry about that. You can turn the spindle speed all the way down and then manually turn the spindle on with your dsp to do that
@ronnierobason65735 жыл бұрын
@@SouthernGinger I may be slow but could you explain which buttons to use and sequences to start the pump.
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
@@ronnierobason6573 there is a spindle button on the controller to start the spindle and on the actual white box (computer) you can turn down the rpms from 400 to 0

Do you now why the liquid seams to be orange?

I think the stock stuff has some orange in it, it's got a little antifreeze in it

Does it matter which hose goes on which side of the spindle? Great video

Yup one is an outlet and one is an inlet.

Hi Zack, quick question my CNC arrived this month and my coolant hoses are clear as it's brand new. Wouldn't it be hard for you to see the change in oxidation as is evident from your video, now that your hoses are blue? I mean the blue hoses look awesome compared to clear but it's one point I would make in your video to make sure you check the reservoir correct for the coloration change, correct?
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Yup I just check the reservoir. So far it's staying pretty clear and most importantly cool. :)

Great tips man! Is your water a particular PH because you’re running an RO process on the water? I’m actually running a synthetic anti-freeze in mine.
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Yeah antifreeze works just fine. No I have an Enagic machine that uses titanium plates and electricity to separate the water into alkaline and acidic streams.. it's crazy cool 11.5ph is highly alkaline and has a lubricant feel to it
@TheTinkirWorkshop5 жыл бұрын
Southern Ginger Workshop Oh wow, that’s pretty neat. What’s your main use for something like that?
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Drinking water. I drink 9.5 daily and 11.5ph after workout or when I want to goto sleep haha. I can tell you all about it one day, another one of those things I do/sell on the side lol
@robertgiltner21445 жыл бұрын
@@SouthernGinger Not to be a nerd but anything alkaline will have a lubricant feel to it because technically it's breaking down your lipid bilayer in your skin...basically its breaking down the fats which then feels like lubrication.
@SouthernGinger5 жыл бұрын
Ah very cool, that's how I know it's 11.5 is rub it between my fingers to see how it feels. That's not nerdy! Haha

Sorry, but I’d stay with the manufacturer’s (axiom) way. I tried it your way but found the nut is very difficult to reinstall back onto the spindle. I needed to cut about 6mm off the original tube because it’s damaged from the nut, and that’s fine but then the original tube then pulls and twists as I tighten the nut back up. Just sayin.
