Might have accidentally knocked the rubber washer off the plug ?...or it's not tight enough or crossed threaded

Its also a good idea to pressure test a cooling system any time you have opened up the system. Pressure testing is the only way to ensure you have no leaks.

im about to put a new themostat in so I thought Why not do a flush and change of coolant. I dont really need to but wont hurt for some fresh stuff since im losing a bit of fluid with the change over of the thermostat. Cool vid mate.

So with the dilution of the coolant, if I buy 100% concentrate, I just add roughly 2 parts water to 1 part of coolant right? And how big are the FG XR6 coolant tanks? How many litres of coolant should I add to be topped up with water?

I use 3 ..to 4 litres of coolant concentrated...them fill with warm water ...system take 8 litres approx when do a coolant change ...think its 11 litres total if new engine and completely dry

I found out the hard way, that shit kills the grass and almost sterilizes the soil, had a bald spot for several months 😂😂😂

Not a good video imo; if anyone followed they'd crack a head or gasket and the warm water refill will leave air in the system and a dry block at least causing premature wear. A better procedure is to do a reverse flush. Remove and test but better replace the thermistat this enables the block to be filled then replaced, topped up with coolant and brought up to temp.

These barra bleed up fine been doing it for years no problem
