Hi nice video. Small thing would point out is not to loosen bolts on the engine when hot. The threads in aluminum can strip. Suggestion to loosen (not remove) the oil drain and filter bolts first and then warm the engine up. Take care :-)

I already have video on AS200 windshield on how to do it. Also video on aux light Crash guard is must it protects you and tank scoof from damage. No knowledge about box Regarding tool kit many people have asked me. That is bit long topic so will make a video on it. Just waiting for my room light setup. For nuckle guard yes duke one are great fit. I was going to buy but i am struggling little bit with finance thing. It requires some spacer in the weight bar to install them. I didn't know where to buy them but i will figure out the way to install once i buy them. And of course video will be made.

Hey pal, I've been using yamalube for my fz overall it is good. But sometimes the performance of my bike drops and engine feels rough if i turn off my bike and ride it again after riding it at high rpm. Any idea why this is? Is it due to engine oil issues or should I adjust the tappet? .

FZ25 has an old school engine dating back to the late 80’s from the XT250 Enduro Motorcycle-Ester based oils don’t seem to be going well with this engine, Smoothness is better while using Yamalube Sporty Premium, which is specially formulated for FZ25. People have reported engine issues after using other engine oils like Motul 20-50.... I have tried Motul 10w40 and felt the pickup/ response was somewhat better but gradually smoothness was gone and bike started feeling rough.... today after running 2500 on Motul, switched back to Yamalube, will share feedback in few days...

20-50 itself is wrong choice for this. Oil pump is not designed to pump 20-50 then how come not engine will show problems. Modern easter doesn't do any damage. If you read manual it says SL or higher which mean SL is the minimum grade requirement.

Agree oil pump would definitely not be designed to pump thicker oil and engine block damage due to insufficient oil being pumped... Grade wise 10w40 and SL/SM/SN being higher grades is absolutely fine. There was another discussion on Pros and cons of Esters on engines running lazy compression like FZ25, on contrary I have been using Motul 7100 on my Duke 390 which runs a crazy compression and definitely working well since last 4 years.

Compression thing is due to incorrect tappet adjustment by svc's. I have adjusted tappet myself and the settings i mentioned, bike pulls like crazy. Whoever adjusted like i said seen improvement.

Although the recommended grade for the fz25 is 10w40 but i was thinking about trying the motul 7100 10w50 as i have heard a higher viscousity grade will smoothen the engine and gearshifts a bit. There have been engine break down issues. One of them used w50. Thicker oil doesn't mean its good. It will generate more heat as thicker oil will not travel as fast as less thick hence distributing the heat throughout. I can't really say if oil pump is designed to pump w50. And also don't know how less thick it is compare to 20w50. I will stick to recomended. This is all i can say.

4000 max if bike runs at high rpm. For low rpm, local commute can take till 5. But change as soon as you feel bike underperform/vibes. Yamalube can do 2500-3000.

A little bit more or less oil doesn't going to harm. There is something called max & min marks in the dipstick. Wet the filter using the same 1450ml or dont wet as company isnt mentioned anything like that. It will get wet when the engine runs.

Motul 10w40 full Syn doesn works on my fz 25 makes hard shifting gear, makes too much dificult ride and find neutral so decided to change oil for yamalube 10w50 and now shifting gear like knife cutting butter.

Hello Dear. I bought a new 250cc bike that is Yamaha fz25. In first service at 1000km the service centre guy drained oil and put 1L new engine oil. He didnt change oil filter either. He was not aware with the fact that this bike needs 1.3 ltr of engine oil. I myself noticed it yesterday when the bike already ran 300 kms in 20 days(Max distance covered in one run is 25kms). My dipstick is showing oil level below one cross to its minimum according to pic you posted (seen your dipstick photo posted by you in comment section). What adverse effect probably got happen already and what should I do immediately? Should i topup or change entire oil along with oil filter?

1L will not do any damage. Let it be. Do topup and run for 2000 then drain and change the oil filter.

Do the math. If your spiti trip does not exceed oil drain interval of 2000-2500 then continue ortherwise change both. Change oil filter everytime oil is changed.

Hi Bro... I m planning to buy this Fz25 next month, can you little bit describe how it is... Poor Back break pad, engine exhaust rod gets rusty, low vision head lamps.. And sound in engine after running 5-7k kms, is you facing these problems in your bike. Pls tell

Any bike will have minor issues you have to live with that. Issues in fz is very small and there are solutions. To me fz is best and perfect. I truly love this bike. I have technical knowledge and based on my past experience have selected this. Brake pads yes do get worn. Mine lasted for 9000 kms. But there are alternatives available on Amazon and aliexpress for much less price. Head lamp definitely not bad for street riding. It can be adjusted and you can for aux lamps without any issue. The rattling sound you mentioned is the manufacturer issue but that is just a sound nothing else. Bike will not go bad at all. Adjust the tappets correctly and you are good to go. Just ignore the sound. I rode 100+ kmph non stop for 29 hours. It is expected the sound to improve after 10k as the metal settles down. Check my idle Adjustment video to hear engine sound.
