Great videos, John. Would you indulging some of us part timers, and explain how to adjust front brake lever itself properly, at both the lever, and the hub assembly? Just to make sure we’ve an ideal setup. Always appreciate your videos, sir.

Thanks for the video. I replaced the front brakes on my sons KLX110L and I would like to add if you are working in cold temps (single digits here in NH today) bring the brake cable indoors to warm it up before you attempt to reconnect it, there is no extra room with the new brakes installed.

It’s good also to use parts cleaner and clean out the hub parts /light sand the inner brake hub to clean. Also I add some water proof grease on the axel bolt. 👍🏼 Great video !

Would you know why my front wheel won’t Hardly spin freely now that I put the new shoes in?

How do you set the indicator properly on the outside of the hub? (part 41085 for reference). Thanks.

Hi, 07 crf50f crashed into the wall "everyone is ok" but the fork broke and brakes don't seem like they are catching only sometimes and when they do it's very little stopping power... think the springs in drum could have came loose?
@PartzillaParts7 жыл бұрын
If you hit hard enough to break a fork...you should probably just take apart the wheel and drum and inspect it all. It could be a bad line or springs or something else.

Partzilla hey I opened it up and all good! I slightly fixed it or just for the moment now when I break it’s like wham!, anti lock times 2... nothing is hung up or anything... I’m trying to avoid replacing the hub ect

to where I can put the pinch bolt thru
@PartzillaParts7 жыл бұрын
Just slide the arm on, then put the bolt through. May take some wiggling.

The brake adjustment part sucked, you cant see because theres no shot of it without the hand in the road.. ive watched this about 20 times as i sit here screwing with my crf and still no friggen idea what the hell is going on

Nice tools
@jasontucker17017 жыл бұрын
see that's what I thought but it won't slide even if you do wiggle it
@PartzillaParts7 жыл бұрын
Double check the arm to make sure it's not bent and then check the cam shaft for damage. It should slide on pretty easy. Does the bolt go through before you try to put it on the cam shaft?
@jasontucker17017 жыл бұрын
yes it does
@PartzillaParts7 жыл бұрын
Then it's not lining up on the cam shaft right. Make sure there is nothing blocking the bolt valley or the cam shaft isn't bent.

Not sure what year your bike is, but this should give you a better idea on what goes on that portion. www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/2013/TTR110E+-+TTR110ED/REAR+WHEEL/parts.html
