On a gasoline engine, there is usually a fuel filter near the fuel tank. AUTODOC

what do you know.. i opened there and it wasnt.. so specify model year and fuel.. coz my 2011 clio 1.2l benzins filter isnt there

Guys I do believe this filter on a petrol version of the Clio if you have it as i think it’s only available on the Clio 3 is a evaporation filter or a kind of catch can for over filling petrol to the injectors If there’s to much petrol being injected it returns via this filter back to the tank or if there’s only a small amount it evaporates inside this filter 👍 petrol filter is on the rear of the vehicle by the petrol tank Anyone ?

If only it were that simple, no fuel filter there, unless it is on the other side, I don't think there is a petrol filter on the car I have. Probably made in turkey.

Waste of time watching this video, ended up taking off the wheel, taking out the wheel arch for nothing. So this video caused extra work for nothing. What I really need to do is drop the petrol tank to get at the pump, not possible from inside the car under the rear seat, the hole offset from the top of the pump and the sender unit, so impossible to take the pump out, also this version of clio doesn't have a petrol filter.

@@user-pn8vh9zf8k Yes it is a right job, the hole under the rear seat doesn't line up with the petrol pump, first the brake cable has to come off , then the bolts securing the petrol tank. Then it can be lowered. My brother also ended up cutting the hole and pealing back the metal to get at the pump. A stupid design idea. Why doesn't the hole line up with the pump, because this particular Renault Clio is made in Turkey, and they must use a different petral tank. Makes the job much harder to do. I naturally assumed that being a french company it would have been made in France,and not the middle east or there abouts.

@@user-pn8vh9zf8k Yes the petrol tank has to be lowered but before that the hand break cable has to be taken off. Also because the hole under the seat is offset, from the pump, less than half of the pump can be see , and for better access part of the metal of the hole had to be cut and pealed back . Why it is done like this god knows. Must be the turkish way of doing things. I assumed at first that being a Renault Clio it would have been made in France, but it isn't. They must use different petrol tanks, what an idiotic way of doing things.

took the offside wheel liners off, no fuel filter there, It is a clio mk 3 2011 so this video is bollocks.
