What about pulling up on the left. If i'm going say 25mph in 3rd gear and need to pull up on the left, do I need to slow down and go to gear 2 and then 1 and then stop, or do I just use the brake, still in 3rd gear and with the clutch pressed down to stop stalling?

You can brake, clutch and park in 3rd. Parking brake on, then select neutral 👍

After I change a gear can I add gas and in the same time release the clutch or I must release the clutch all the way and than adding gas as you explaine in the video? Greetings from Serbia!
@worlddriving4 жыл бұрын
Hi! The simplest way to change gear is shown in the video but if you want to change gear quicker or if the car jerks when you change gear then try pressing the gas slightly just before the clutch is fully released. Hello . How are you. In this video while on a high way i saw you changed from 3rd to 5th gear AND i was wondering why didn't you change to 4th gear? Or its all fine to go from 3rd to 5th when the speed is high. Please your reply would be appreciated . Thank you
@worlddriving3 жыл бұрын
It's ok to 'block' gear change as long as you're at the right speed. A lot of drivers do it changing down. For example 3rd to 1st and skip 2nd. 🙂

Manual transmission is for poor people in poor countries who can only afford small engines. These days, Automatic transmission is more efficient, more reliable, and less maintenance like e-CVT in hybrid, or regular Aisin or ZF Torque converter 6,8, or 10 speeds. No clutch, no belt, just fluid change every 100k miles or 160k Km. Don't get stupid DCT (dual clutch automated manual transmission). It still needs expensive clutch replacement and many cases new robot unit/mechatronics.
