How to change headlight bulbs Renault Megane III MK3 2007-2015 model HD

Went out to my Megane, fiddled with the top clip for a minute, looking at how to change the bulb. With everything being real tight there, I thought it was going to be awkward job so did a quick youtube search and found this video. Very clear, easy to follow video, made the job quick and easy for me, thank you very much!

If ur screws are tight or not been open for a while, that stock tool will just not be enough, mine got rounded very fast... You should do a video about rear lights too 😅

Was changing bulbs for first time in my car (BMW 3) and my girlfriends Renault Megan needed a bulb change also. I’ve spent more than an hour to change 2 bulbs. With Renault took me literally 5 minutes. Great video. Very easy to follow instructions.

Needed to get my bulb done ASAP had to get to work! Opened bonnet and was greeted with the usual sight of everything having no room around it! Thought I might have to drop the bumper etc, found this very easy to follow clip on how to change the bulb. Thanks 😊

Fantastic tutorial, watched once and knew exactly what I was supposed to do. As long as you have the correct tools, it should be a 10/15 minute job for both headlights. I recently swapped out my halogen lights for LED and this tutorial saved a ton of time. A couple of things to note though, the long fastener may be a bit fiddly (mine wouldn't budge) so if you have a flat head screw driver, get it into the groves and pry upwards.

Hi just wanted to say Thanx for this video. We have a 2014 Megane 1.5 dci auto. The bulb failed on Friday and I read the handbook but thought it would be easier to watch. This is the first bulb to blow since we got the car ( we bought it new and it’s done 85000 miles ) I found the removal tool but pulling that bar up it’s a spanner as well. Watching this made it piss easy Thanks again

I changes my headlights last week, only to realise, the main headlights have two bulbs either side, so I've got two bright new bulbs and two low beam full yellow ones. I never realised there is such a thing as low and high-beam, minis the actually full-beam. I.e., when I drive at night, there are 4 bulbs lit, as mentioned above - odd. Now I need another two bulbs but try to find which ones will work.

Mine had a Xenon light, still struggling to put the bulb back , it has a different socket , and the bulb comes with a huge box attacked to it ( which contains electronics probably )

Don't forget the DRLs (day time running lights are there right beside the indicator bulb. Great addition to the auto lights so no stupid idiots driving around with these on at night and no rear lights.

Damn, I went to have it done, they told me they had to remove the whole front bumper to get to the bulbs (They actually did, they showed me some pictures)....Did I get scammed?

Are you sure they didn't also replace fog light light bulbs? You have to remove front bumper to get to these unfortunately.

Maybe in Megan 5 will be easy like golf. Obviously renault's constructors had been watching this Fifth Gear change a light bulb - KZbin. In Golf that was more than 60 times easy and without instruments.

Incomplete information. There is a hole or even two holes on this latch that act as a key for these screws, so no tools are needed.
