How To Change Hi Hat Angle?

This week #drummers ill be doing a video on Hi Hat Pedal Angle. A few months ago i did a video on the correct pedal angle, and i got a lot of question asking " How can you change the Hi hat Pedal Angle "
This is going to be a little different depending on what Hi Hat stand you have, but ultimately its the same procedure.
In this video i will go through the way you can change The Hi Hat pedal angle so its not such a sharp angle, so the its no uncomfortable in the drummers shins. I will show you how to do this step by step and it will help your #drumming especially when you are playing for long periods.

black pipe insulation would also work and not require you to unscrew the bolt. You could also use a 1.5"-2" wide, piece of velcro. The only issue I see with this is that you are putting more strain on the inner spring, reducing its wound strength, so it'll wear it down faster over time and/or not feel as responsive or fast. But cool drum hack either way! thanks

@@BrendrumJones it worked man! i couldn't get the tube loose from the long rod but i vertically cut a felt and put it on and it made a vast difference. legend!

How to adjust hi hat height on Pearl export kit made in Tiwain. On the bottom of hi hat the pedal is at the very bottom.

You could buy cymbal felts, or look for plastic ones which these are
