Hey Andy you post alot of great videos on KZbin. But I must admit this one has been the most beneficial to me being a Gravely owner as well. For example resetting the hour meter for services. I'm actually waiting on my dealer to get filters then I'm doing my hydro change. Thanks helpful video for the process. It's hard to run a lawn biz without equipment so service is crucial!

Super maintenance tips! Really good to know how to change out the hydraulic fluid. Would be interested to read how those without a forklift are able to raise their machine enough to do this.

Thanks, Just did this on my 48 pro stance. Followed the video and everything worked like it should. No an easy job but definitely a diy. Wish I had a fork lift.

I have the pro stance 52", model 994162. It only has one hydro reservoir. Worried about it filling up one hydro gear faster than the other

I bought the a gravely 52 inch pro stance and it's got 54 hours on it... But I am starting my 3rd year of mowing. Would you change the hydrolic fluid n filters or would you recommend waiting till 75 hrs?

Maintenance on equipment is crucial! Stay on top of service schedule and you have minimal breakdowns.

They say to service the hydros @ 70 hours? I service mine every ten hours. I always do overkill when it comes to servicing my mower because I want it to last a long time.

😯 I think every 10hrs is over killing it. But nothing wrong with that.

Always great info, I have a 2005 Gravely 2348 XLZT, do you have any experience with the hydro system on something this old?

This is why I bought a Cubby, I've never had to even change the oil in 250 hrs.

Why didn't he remove the guards below the filter guards? It would have saved so much time and mess!

Yep , plus if they get bent a little each change, the will be broken after a few years

400 hrs till your next hydro service . Theres no way I would ever let any of mine run that long before I would change out the filter an oil its pushing it if I let them go for 80 hrs. Oil is much cheaper then a new hydro unit..

it was sweet how they lifted it up with a forkilift. Never seen that before

You know you should not stand or work under a load on a forklift.....
