I have a 2010 Rubicon (59k miles) and a 2016 75th Anniversary Edition (55k miles) as much as Jeepers say the 3.6 is superior to the 3.8, the 3.8 is so much easier to work on and it DOESN’T HAVE THAT GODDAMN PIECE OF CRAP PLASTIC OIL COOLER HOUSING that already failed on my 2016 at 52k miles, as well as the rear main seal, luckily still under warranty with Mopar CPO 7year/100k Powertrain warranty. My CE light came on too (‘10 Rubi) for the EGR valve, but went off on its own after a 50 mile highway drive. The vehicle was on a lot for 3 or so weeks not driven, so it probably needed to get hot to function properly again.

hahaha of yeah, don't know why they added that part it really just gets in the way, oh no that sucks, what will you do when they are not in warranty? would you still stick with jeep?

Nice vid mate, being an Aussie across the ditch, always good to see RHD cars being worked on. Did you have trouble with any of the leads stuck on at the spark plug? I was trying to replace plugs recently and 4 out 6 on mine are stuck hard, didn't want to risk using full on brut force in case the leads/boots get damaged yanking them off.

Thanks mate, no I didn’t, did you get them off? Are you replacing them both? Maybe a bit of WD40 might help, just not 100% sure sorry.

@@Whiteandsonsgarage Wanted to change just the plugs, will try again with a dash of WD-40. Totally unexpected problem, never had this on any other car I’ve worked on.
