How to change low beam bulb Mercedes GLK350 (no metal clip)

A very simple way to change your low beam bulb with the updated version of the tabs that hold the bulb in place on your 09-14 Mercedes’ GLK350. Couldn’t find any videos showing how to change the bulbs with this updated version that has no metal clip holding the bulb. Absolutely no tools needed, and no need to Jack the car up and go through the wheel well which is a bunch of useless trouble. I know this is still a popular car to own despite being 10 years old so hopefully this helps some of y’all.

We were getting super frustrated trying to replace driver's side low beam in our 2014 GLK 250 & reading the forums did not prove helpful (especially reading everyone's frustration :-) . I tried replacing my bulbs with aftermarket HID’s… I have this style of retainer clips and I couldn’t FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out why the bulbs wouldn’t seat correctly… come to find out, the ring on the HID bulbs are too thick for these style clips. Had to go back to the original. Very frustrating… but what was most frustrating is I could only find videos of the spring style. So thank you for uploading this

Hi C.T. are you using those retainer clips? If not I would love to buy them off of you. I have looked everywhere to get the retainer clips for a 2010 GLK 350 and you can't get them unless you buy the whole headlight assembly.

THE MANUAL SAYS JUST LIFT THE BASE OF THE BULB UP IT WILL POP OUT. WHEN INSERTING A NEW BULB, SIMPLY PUSH IT DOWN.

Great, you just replacing lightbulb. Just? I can't believe Germans can design something this dumb. Just to get to those bulbs! No wonder the dealer will charge 300-400 dollars for installing lightbulb.
