I thought I knew everything about Cricut and I never knew I could move items from one mat preview to another. You are such a treasure!

Aww, thanks! :) It's so handy being able to move things around, it really helps to save materials.

Do you mind telling me what version of Design Space you are using? I don't have the 3 buttons option. I see you don't have the "edit" button under the each mat in the right column of mats. Little good that does because all you can do when you "edit" is rotate and move things within the same mat but not to another. The only thing I can think of is a different version. Thank you!

It's 5.14.79 and the Desktop version. It the first screen after you click "make it" - the one where you can change the size of the paper you are cutting on, before you choose your material and send it to the Cricut.

Hi Great tip, however can you save the default mat setting size as its a pain having to do that when your cutting multiple times a day?

Unfortunately you can't, but that would be an amazing feature!

Can this be done in cricut design ipad only.

This video was done on the desktop version of Design Space. I don't use it on an iPad so I don't know if the same thing can be done on them.

Hi, I only have letter as material size option, what am I supposed to do here? I also work with A4
@CraftWithSarah4 жыл бұрын
Are you doing a print then cut? If so, you can only have US Letter, but if you are just cutting then you should be able to click into the dropdown to change the size.

How can i have more than one mat?
@CraftWithSarah4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you have more images in one colour than will fit into the 12x12 area then Design Space will split it into several different mats on the "Make It" screen. If your design has more than one colour then Design Space automatically splits it into one mat per colour. When you go to cut your card/vinyl/etc, you only need one physical Cricut mat - it will cut one at a time so that you can take off what's just been cut and replace it with a fresh sheet of card/vinyl etc and then load the mat back into the Cricut machine.
