"Don't try to put oil without a funnel, it's gonna go everywhere" LMAO, I did it without a funnel with 5mph wind and only spilled a drop. It was directly from a 5QT jug too. I guess those many years as a kid pouring a gallon jug of milk into a bowl of cereal paid off.

2:05 you don't need to remove that clip. Just bend it back a little out of the way then push it in when filter done. Per the dealer mech. Spent 2 hours chasing one down after I broke it pulling it out.

Basically turn the key to where all dash lights come on then turn that button to Trip A then just hold it... then turn key to off position while holding the button.. then turn it back to dash lights on ... keep holding it until all dots on trip A are gone .. and voila it is reset for another 5k miles.

You don’t need one for an oil drain plug it’s not supposed to be that hard to take off maybe at first but you can hit it like him just to loosen It up no need for extra work with breaker bar

@@RBTheMechanic I understand, RB. What you have there looks like an attorney wrote it. Something simple like, "This video is for educational purposes and all efforts have been made to provide accurate information. Viewers should confirm the information in the video for their exact application, and if they choose to do anything described in the video, then they do so at their own risk." That would show that you're trying get good information to people and at the same time say that you don't accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong if they choose to try it. 👍😊

audiophile man yeah brother I did have attorney do this for me I have been in the business for 12 years I have had issues with business partners learned the hard way 3 years or trials and errors but I’m always here to help people educated and give info on any type of repairs even if they have check engine codes I can look them up and suggest an idea of repair or estimate but I have to protect myself I hard 2 trials one almost costed me 5 years of jail time but since I was telling the truth it back fired and costed the other party $300k my win all because of lease paper work in business partnership

@@RBTheMechanic Okay, I can see why you're gun shy, but remember that if you come on this strong, you will drive people away, because they won't trust you. You should point this out to your attorney and have him craft something that covers you, but sounds a lot softer. You're really coming at people pretty hard with this disclaimer. I work as a professional that is subject to lawsuits. There are ways to protect yourself. They are limited liability arrangements and incorporation. There's also something called errors and omissions insurance. Maybe those are things to look into. Don't shoot yourself in the foot with tough denials of liability. If I made that statement to my clients before I did professional consulting, I'd be out of a job! When I write inspection reports, I'm careful to state that what I say only applies to the work I was hired to do and it was done to the best of my ability and knowledge and there may be errors and omissions. Anyway, this is something to think about. I realize you have a small channel, and it may not be worth your time to pursue it for this, but if you want the channel to grow, you're going to need to be a lot less tough on how you disclaim liability.
