Nice video! I would recommend moving to postion and then putting the tool in though, so there is zero chance of collision. You could also skip doing a postion point after it's set too as once you select another tool, it will do it automatically before moving over. Everyone's a critic I know 😂

This is great information as we install more of our Fast Change systems to improve our customers' spindle up time. Excellent video, well shot, clear and to the point!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video! Most have no idea how much work goes into capturing everything, re-takes, etc. Running that first part can be a little hard on the nerves! Is the pick off going to crash when it goes to grab the part? That would be an interesting video detailing that, because running it 1st time it all looks like a collision happening as the pick off comes in, grabs it in sync, and you hope the grab is at the sweet spot. Trying to learn that now amongst other things. Adding to the challenge would be being on a machine with nasty plexiglass making it hard to see whats happening, and if you have door open a little you can get soaked with coolant, so you got high pressure block skipped and try and step through it. If you can get through the first part with no broken tools hey thats a win! All the little details need to be perfect, right down to double checking previous guys set up, did they tighten the guide bushing nut set screw? Might wanna double check! Thanks!

For Tube Material, you can set the cut-off end pos. to a positive value. Go to MC Data and type a PLUS sign followed by the desired cut-off end pos. The + is mandatory for positive values.

6:09 On that cross live tool, when you set it you mentioned that the tool and material are .005-.007” away from each other, but you didn’t compensate for it afterward. I would have dropped the tool that amount to get it just right.

Why tool number 2 is always ignored in those type videos?

Would you consider the l32 a 3 axis machine or a 6-7 axis? Because if XYZ on the back side and also every once a while a c axis
@KreminIncManufacturing7 ай бұрын
I believe they say it has nine Cutting Axis (X1, Y1, Z1, X2, Y2, Z2, C1, C2, B).

Hello ! Useful informations. I see a drill holder in this video.. 3 drills that drill in the diameter and 4 drill in the center . How to measure the drills that drill into the center of the raw material ? On the main page . Could you make a video about it?

Are you looking at how to set the 3 drills on the B axis arm in this video?

Yes !@@KreminIncManufacturing

@@Pet1-hydroThe 4 live tools that are farthest from the operator (pointing toward you) are touched off in the same way as the ones pointing down. You still Man Set the tools on Dia, and the machine knows to move the Y-axis (forward/backward) instead of the X-axis (up/down) to set them. This is at least how it is for tool blocks that are solid and don’t have a B-axis, so I may be wrong about how it’s done for the one in this video.

Pro-Tip - when setting up a Tool with Man.Set on Dia: instead of clearing the edge with pos.point - set the machine to x10 JOG speed and turn the hand wheel a bunch in the + Direction. Ofcourse, Do Not Press Input on the new displayed value after doing so. exit with ESC. That's much faster, esp. if you have the door safety on.
