Can you not use a 9v battery to retract the epb? I didnthat on a couple of vehicles (audi and Volvo)

if I open brake liquid tank to relief pressure and just press the piston back in, i don't need to separate back module, right?

You have to with every electrick brake...

Nope, the brake fluid and the servo are seperate systems, if you don't remove the servo motor then it is impossible to reset, trust me I tried!

What size Alan key are they to take the the 2 sets of bolrs out

Prob a bit late but if anyone else is looking, it's 7mm for the calipers and 5mm for the servo motor. 30nm for putting the calipers back.

What is the reason to open the back module or is that the epb which is on and needs to be set as off? What if the car is jacked up on all 4s and handbrake is off already will that still be necessary?

p85 124. you will need to check the model you need. my friend changed 2 models until he found the right brake pads

Thanks for the reply. Have 2017 facelift FR ST 1.4tsi, so i will try out P85 124's if these fit they fit and if no i will keep on searching, cheers.

Yeaaa. The rear right brake piston was impossible to compress so i bought a new one and the rear left went in super easy with no hard force needed and i dont know why 😅

No.. when you apply the parking brake or depress the brake pedal, the pistol will push the pads, you may need to press the brake pedal as many times
