I do like your vids, but in this one, the mechanic tightens the new shock into place on the bottom bolt, but then is shown adding a nut to the top of the shock inside the car ??? The car is up on a lift.......how are we supposed to get up there to do this ??

Too stiff? Perfect! Mercedes shocks are always mushy soft anyway. Drive like an old man's car. I love Mercedes, but never liked how soft they ride

At around 4:30 how did you know how many inches to lift the lower control arm to compensate so when the car goes back on the ground the rear of the car is not sitting up in the air higher than the front (a common issue I see when people replace shocks or front struts on these cars)? Can you guide me on this if I'm jacking the car up off the ground but it won't be on a lift like you have here in the video?
