can you change blade sizes on the same model for tighter cuts? looking to downgrade from industrial sized bandsaw for small projects with more intricacy

If you want to make tighter cuts, I'd recommend a jigsaw, or saber saw. The same tool just different names depending on where you are in the country. That should do better if you're coming off a bandsaw.
