PS My player Is Region B DVD 2 and I just played The Big Country Blu-Ray Disc and that Is Region A. I have also played other Regions with no problem all by using this Hack. Thank You so much for this. Magic. and I can now play any film or Folders of Stuff through the Usb port from My 2tb NTFS Powered Hard drive when It kept saying not Supported before. And played I got for £5. So Thanks for that to.

If all fails.. reset the player by turning the player on, pressing the Blue "B" and Yellow "Y" plus "OK" on your Panasonic Remote all at the same time for 5 seconds. You will see a 00RET displayed on your screen. Press the right arrow of the NORTH SOUTH EAST WEST configuration repeatedly until "08FIN" is showing on your screen. Press and hold "OK" for 5 seconds or more. The unit will power off. Wait a few more seconds and power on again. Your unit will be reset.

The Blu ray player has additional firmware which can be purchased from them at a cost. This method won't work if you've a retail purchased player in UK/Europe.

Incredible .... I have a DMR UBT1 recorder and will try it. But I am only trying to make the DVD section region free .... I called Panasonic and they gave me the runaround BECAUSE I couldn't immediately produce a receipt for their ultra-high-end product! So much for the 1300 R1 DVDs I bought while living in the US! Hi TPS i have the panasonic dmp-bdt120 2012 version player, yet the strange thing is its multiregion as its been playing region 1 s /2 etc...but ive been recently buying region A discs as they're now known and i get code mismatch??? i know it was converted to region 0 as its been playing region 1s but it seems to have its own mind .i bought john waynes The cowboys blu ray recently region 1 plays great, i bought Sabata blu ray region 1 says code miss match?? do i have to upgrade somewhwere or is there a new code on the discs that my multi region cant i dentify ???? Any help would be great? i also bought dan curtis DRACULA blu ray 3 days ago, says the same thing code miss match?? Mark.

I cannot accept why I should not be allowed to see a film which I purchased legally. It is a swinisheness from the film industry. Who really wants to see the film, will always find a way..
