[UPDATE] If you are running on newer version of Tizen like 5.5 and if you try to change region using the combination firmware linked in this video it will disable the WiFi of you're watch. Then you'll need a pin connector for flashing software. Also if you have an LTE model don't change region. @@colinhristow I first couldn't connect SDB, but that's because i lazily thought i didn't need to restart the watch since it was already connected to my home wifi. SDB connected sucessfully after restart the watch. Also, make sure to deactivate windows defender when connecting to SDB

Hi, I'm encountering a problem at the very start. When I connect to the watch's hotspot with my laptop's built-in wifi card the watch says error, connection timed out (110) no matter how many times I try it. If I try an external USB wifi card, it just says on my laptop that it cannot connect to the network. Any ideas? Edit: I got my error fixed! I found on XDA forums that if you have this same error you have to disable your firewall(both Windows Security and other antiviruses).

Amazing! You just saved me more than 120 EUR. I bought mine from some sketchy website which was significantly cheaper than the other ones here in Sweden. @@petrasignatavicius2176 Ok thanks for the reply. So, I went ahead and also did this. But it downgraded from 5501 to 4006 that's why the ECG & BP installed successfully. Then the system detected an update (of course) to ver 4008, so I updated it. The ECG & BP still works fine. But then again another update detected to 5501. So now, it's back to 5501 with an ECG on it, but still no BP. So, if you're planning to do this for ECG & BP, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS IF YOU'RE ALREADY 5501, OR EVEN YOU'RE 4006 SINCE IT WILL UPDATE TO ver 5501 with an ECG but still no BP. This process needs an update that should work with the 5501.

​@@listen2khan I have followed the steps as explained in the video and have had no problems. In the end you end up with Tizen 4.4 but when you sync with the clock it is already updated to 5.5.0.1. I also tell you that the latest update released by Samsung 5.5.0.2 with ecg and blood pressure does not jump to update it. When from the mobile I tell them to check for updates, they tell me that the clock is already on the last one but it is not true

Amazing work, everything is fine! If you are getting error in SDB, that it fails to connect, you have to: Turn off Bluetooth, enable developer mode, enable debbuging and keep wifi at always on. After that just restart watch and it should be working

Just one additional comment - if the Samsung Pay app doesn’t come up on the watch after doing everything here, you’ll need to install the Samsung Pay watch plugin through an apk file. Once that’s done, Samsung Pay will start showing in the watch. The apk won’t work unless you have followed all the steps in the video and changed the region to a country that supports the watch version of Samsung Pay.

I finally got it to work over 6 hours of trying with a slow PC!!! To then find out that Samsung doesn't support Halifax or monzo which are my two debit cards I use LOL. Hopefully they'll change this. Either way it worked!! Cheers :D

Recently I bought a Samsung watch sm-r805u from eBay USA as it was described as unlocked. I'm based in Italy and when I received the watch I realised that watch doesn't work over here as the frequencies are tared for the US market...If I was gonna change the region, as you are describing, would I be able to activate a mobile plan with the italian's frequencies? Thank you so much for this tutorial. While doing this, I had the 5.5 version INU (INU) firmware, with this process, it was downgraded to 4.0.0.7, and I did not get over the air updates. I fixed this by following the same steps, but with the Combination Firmware for 4.x.x. This did the trick! My region is changed to the US, and my watch is up to date as well! Hope this helps.

I would suggest to backup everything via wearable app before proceeding

Thanks TechnoPro, I'm in Canada and have a "GWA2 40mm LTE Unlocked, US, R835U, SW: R835USQU1BTJ6. LTE doesn't work, and Samsung pay asks US ZIP Code. Your CSC change tutorial is for R825F/R835F, not R835U. Do I have to downgrade and install a v4.x R835F (XAC) on my R835U? or It's better to downgrade to v4.xUS (XAR) and then convert it to R835F (XAR, Tizen 4.x)? Hey @TechnoProz! I did this a few months back when Samsung pushed BP and ECG for US users. I would like to switch back to my original region now. My SSD died in the meantime but I know my original CSC. My watch is updated 5.5.0.1. What should I do to go back to my original CSC now? Thanks!

I have a Samsung Galaxy watch2 Does the BP app work in the US? I had a PC tech try to download it from your instructions. He was able to get the ECG to work but not the BP. It downloads to the watch but does not show up on the app on the watch. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you all your help in this matter.

@technoproz, do u think changing csc gonna has some side effect on watch 's functionality ? Whether csc for Asia vs US - EU has specific different configuration (except softwares) for each market ?

I did all the steps but somehow my watch downgraded to 4.0.0.6. Any idea how to revert all the modifications and get to original state?

Just update software from watch now after changing the region and you should get on 4.0.0.8

It is normal because stock firmware is R820XXU1ASHF, when S=2019, H=august, F=version of revision

Hello, I am trying to change the region for an Under Armor version in Canada. When I flash the comb file it doesn't load, is there a newer version? This process works for the UA version? Thanks.

Thanks man, an awesome job. Just changed the CSC from the United Arab Emirates to the UK one and updated to the latest Tizen 5.5.0.1. Loving it!

hey, I just want to know whether it's possible to get OTA updates after this process, I have seen some people report that the process breaks OTA update, how did you manage?

@@theone4923 Not sure I can reply to that yet cause I don't think they have released new updates. But what I can say is that after the CSC change I got one update automatically initiated, then i searched for updates again and found the 5.5.0.1 which then I installed

On my watch if I included CP in netodin3 final step I got write failure. XDA says only BL. AP and CSC. That seems to prevent write failure.
