How to change rotation of an industrial clutch motor

I have a Scott 1/2 HP clutch motor for an industrial sewing machine that rotates clockwise. I need it to rotate counter clockwise. This is surprisingly simple.

Do you think I’ll be possible to add some switches for it to move counter clockwise and switch to clockwise on a flick of a switch??

That's interesting but out of my experience. The new servo motors are inexpensive and provide great control.

Thanks so much. It saved me from calling in a machanic. I did found an easier solution because I couldbt reach the wires on the motor. So I switched the wires in the power box

Sir I know you could have done better on your video. I'm terribly sea sick now since you're moving camera around so much. Your simple explanation was what I needed to fix my upholstery sewing machine. Get you a good helper with steady hands for camera and lighting. I thank you for this video as I tried so many others not worth a darn.
