Thank you. I have a gap between the shower door and hinge that has been leaking since I moved in. Today it dawned on me, that there’s likely a seal that exists for these issues, but I wasn’t sure what it was looking at the different types available, so now I know! Thanks again

Great video that helped me put a seal and sweep on my glass shower door. The original installation did not include a sweep or seals. Please tell me what the music was that accompanies this video. Very professional presentation.

I had a Glass Warehouse (model number: GW-B-GH-34CH 58x34 inch) frameless glass hinged tub door installed. It did not come with a rubber seal for the vertical part of the hinged area where the door hinges are that allow the small door to open and close. We bought the vertical seal online and added it. It had to be cut into pieces to fit on either side of the oversized chrome hinges. (The short door that opens and closes has a bottom sweep seal that came with the glass.) The shower seems to leak through the two oversized hinges mostly and the water also finds its' way between the gaps around the hinge in the vertical rubber seal onto the floor. Like a little stream that we put towels down on the floor to catch as we try and solve this problem! My questions: is there a way to seal the gap in the hinges? Also the installer put the wider part of the h seal on the inside of the shower glass. I see in your video example the wider part of the vertical h seal is on the outside. Would this make a difference for us if we changed the positioning? But the real trick is sealing up the oversized hinges and filling those gaps with silicon would look awful and not allow the hinges to work properly (opening and closing the small door) is my guess. (Here is our model number: GW-B-GH-34CH 58x34 inch frameless glass hinged tub door.) Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem actually. Haha. As for the orientation of the seal at the hinge, why don't you try various ways and see which works best?

For the "h" shape, which side is the out side and which is inside?
@KSTohАй бұрын
No fixed side. Up to you. Depending on what you need.

For the vertical h type sweep, does the fin go in the inside of outside of the shower?
@KSToh2 жыл бұрын
I think both are fine. Depends on where you want the water to drop.

Can you show how to attach the strip onto the hinged door ?
@KSToh2 жыл бұрын
if you are referring to the side of the door with hinges, I basically cut the strip into three parts.

Hi, can you let me know which D type are you using for the Door open side? Thanks for the great video.
@KSToh3 жыл бұрын
For most doors, I am actually using the “h” type. It’s only when the door and fixed panel are not 180 degrees that I use “D” type.

@@KSToh Thanks for getting back to me. My door is at 135 degrees around. I'm wondering what "D" type looks like. I searched and didn't find out.

Oh. In my video, I used the term D-Shape. It’s shown in my video.
