Thank very much my men,you are one of the best in to teach us. Please add more about 4.3 chevy silverado 2002, here we do not have videos over this truck, there are only hd,big engines, this video is great, big help. Now I am working in my 4.3, doing brake lines,spark plugs,cover valves gaskets,oil pan gasket,center link bar,fuel pump,gas filling neck. THE BIG PROBLEM WATH IHAVE IS TO REMUVE CENTER LINK BAR, I DID MANY WAYS AND WAS NO POSIBLE TO TAKE OUT, FOR TO CHANGE OIL PAN GASKET I HAVE TO REMUVE FRONT DIFERENCIAL,CENTER LINK BAR AND OTHER things before the diferencial .

Great video.Thank you love the 4.3.I got 06 silverado .my issue is with the cap and rotor that I have to change twice a year.The last one I bought had brass on inside so I'm hoping will get less corrosion and last longer.?Do u know of others with this issue
@TheEnthusiastMechanic5 ай бұрын
@@terryrideout7457 with the cap you want to make sure the sealing gasket is good and keeping moisture out of the cap or it can cause issues. I believe it’s a separate gasket that doesn’t come with the cap like a rubber oring caps should last at leak 50k before needing replacement

I would go online. They have several diagrams show when you which ones should go where you’re gonna have to do a little bit of research. I know the configuration but without looking at it, it’s difficult for me to tell you.

How do you unclip the spark plug wire from the harness?
@TheEnthusiastMechanic2 жыл бұрын
This has a distributor it’s just the wire going from the plug to the distribution cap if they don’t come off easy on either end just twist and it should break it free

So its normally for the wire boot to be that hard to pull out? Never work on a chevy before tbh and all my previous spark plug job have been easy to pull out
@TheEnthusiastMechanic Жыл бұрын
These spark plugs live in between the headers. They are subject to a lot of heat. Sometimes they have a tendency to really get on there and melt over the years so you have to twist as you pull to break them free. It is very common. My technique is spin them to break them loose and once they spin pull them out
